Step by Step Guide to Building Your Bellame Beauty Business
So you want to learn how to build with Bellame? I vividly remember thinking to myself back in 2018 how it felt like a dream to be on tour as a Professional Makeup Artist for the Pentatonix. Yet, I knew it wasn’t my long term plan. My heart desired to build a stream of income still working in makeup, all from home.
The direct sales and affiliate business model allowed me to do that and to do it quickly! I didn’t have to spend months or even years raising capital to build a brand -which involves searching out manufacturers. No, instead I got to partner with an already established brand without any of the overhead. And I get compensated extremely well to do so. And if you have a passion for personal branding, makeup, and business, then you can do it too. You don’t need a background in business or sales to succeed here. What you need is commitment, a coachable mindset, a willingness to market like crazy, and the willingness to extrapolate and learn from your marketing. What I would say to anyone seriously considering the business is this…
1. Set Clear Goals
Set clear and concise goals. Setting the right goals and putting an action plan into place is crucial. In order to produce X amount of income, how much do you need to sale? Then in order to sell X amount, how many sales do you need to close each day based on an average order amount. Then in order to close that amount of daily sales, how many leads do you need daily? This is how you back into a goal to setup a Plan of Action! As you break this down, write it down, look at it daily and start seeing the path to reach your desired level of success. It all comes down to one thing… conversations. How many conversations are you having on the daily? So start with your goals and your action plan.
2. Master the Products
My second tip on how to build with Bellame is to master the products you sell. Although us Bellame Artists support each other’s businesses, the reality is we are all each other’s competitors. Think about it, if a consumer wants to buy Bellame, they have to ask themselves who they want to buy it from. If you want to really set yourself apart, then know your product inside and out. Study every detail about every ingredient and why it does what it does. If you can master this over time, you will be far more equipped to tackle customer’s solution than your competition. When you’re confident in what you’re selling, you can tackle customer pain points and objections with ease. And your customers will turn to you for real advice, and not simply to complete a transaction. Master the products. Next…
3. Leverage Social Media
Use your social media platforms. Consumers want connection. And they want a real person with the ability to solve their problems. That’s why personal branding is such an amazing opportunity. You either choose to go all in and commit to your personal brand which means committing to your video marketing or you choose a non social media avenue for making money. Who cares if people have an opinion. I have over 200,000 followers across my platforms so trust me, I receive the absolute most hateful comments and messages every single day! But my mission to inspire & help women who need me is far greater than any keyboard warrior who wants to make fun of me. So put yourself out there with a good strategy and have fun with it. Post anywhere and everywhere so long as it allows you to be efficient in reaching your target audience.

4. Build Relationships and Network
This one goes back to my point in Step 1 which is to emphasize the importance of conversations. So long as you stay in a mentality of connection and conversation then you will always be near a new customer or a repeat customer. Converse with intent, and network to help others not just to help yourself. Say you receive a new follower on FB, reach out and ask them how they found you. Thank them for the follow even. Strike up a genuine conversation because you never know where it will lead. Always be ready to serve others and amazing opportunities will come your way. Building real relationships is a major part of how to build with Bellame.
5. Focus on Recruiting and Team Building
If other influencers, friends, or colleagues see you making money doing what you love, playing in cosmetics and that leads them to want to join the company… then why shouldn’t you benefit from bringing them in and mentoring them along? That’s the beauty of the Mentor Model. As your customer base grows, it’s wise to take advantage of the recruiting opportunity to help others interested in the opportunity. It’s not about finding individuals who want to sign up and get a discount, it’s about finding people who are passionate about the business and who are willing to commit to a business and marketing plan. From there, it’s your due diligence to guide them, train them, teach them, and aid them in their sales and marketing. And isn’t it beautiful that the more people you help achieve success, the more success you will achieve?

Common Mistakes to Avoid in Network Marketing with Bellame
- Like most who jump into this business thinking it will be a cake walk, I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning. One of the biggest is not understanding how compensation and commission plans work. I strongly advise you to take the time to learn how it’s structured so you don’t leave money on the table.
- Another huge mistake I see a lot of women commit, is neglecting to stay consistent with social media… I cannot emphasize enough the importance of developing a strong marketing and posting schedule and sticking with it. As a brand, you really need to be consistent to stay on people’s minds.
- The last mistake I see a ton is women who get so focused on selling products that they forget to focus on the customer. Don’t sell the features. Sell the experience. Sell the problem solved. Paint the picture so they can visualize an improved routine or a fixed issue. Story tell and solve problems and your marketing message will be just fine.
